I filmed my senior video today for class day for graduating seniors. So crazy to look back on everything that has happened in the last 4 years (5 if you count the year I took off school).

The Sneakiness of Complacency

I've found myself unmotivated and in routine. I need to spend more time, if I'm going to sit around, with my wife. I'm learning quickly that my presence will not always suffice. The sacrifice of my personal time is what is important.

Same goes for my Heavenly Father. I pray to Him very day, countless amounts of prayer. But what good does me talking Him do if I never sit down and sacrifice my own time to read His Word, so that He can talk back. No relationship is healthy if there is only one communicator.

God is SO GOOD!

Saturday I got free tickets to EMC Club Level Red Sox game ($15,000 10 year season ticket package seats) OR Courtside seats next to the away team's bench at the Celtics game (Game 1 of 1st round playoffs - $1,500 seat). I chose the celtics game and gave the tickets to one of my old roommates from college.

Watch the video...it explains EVERYTHING HAHA.

I also met Steven Tyler (lead singer of Aerosmtih) and shook his hand.

It was a GREAT night.

EVeryday Struggle

Learning to live on a schedule with another human being is tough. Especially when it's your wife haha. God saw me fit to have this responsibility, and I have to do my best to honor the Lord, by honoring my wife.

This is very practical and helpful for any Christian. Realize the position you're in, in life, realize that it was either given by or allowed by God, and then honor God by honoring the situation you are in. Whether with your attitude, emotions, actions, words, whatever it maybe....do all for God's glory.

Self < The Cause

I've been blessed.

I have recently become numb to a lot of GOOD things in life. But I had a good reminder that humbled me. Nothing spectacular, or earth shaking. Just a regular every day thought, that sort of exploded my brain, and made me come to the realization I live too much of my everyday life, taking it for granted.

That must change.

Haters every where we go!

Saw Hillsong United last night. One of my best friends was able to come (PTL). It was humbling and amazing to the point I was fighting back tears. To look over at someone who 5 years ago I knew nothing about, only really having a history of violence and selfishness with them, to see him with his eyes closed worshiping the Lord, Jesus Christ, was worth IT ALL.

Baltimore

Amber and I came home for the weekend to Baltimore. It has been so nice seeing my family. I won't have time to see any friends but it has been GREAT to be home.

Tomorrow is Easter Sunday, I'm very excited to be spending it with Rosedale Baptist Church.
